About Our Company: Metro Safety and Fire Inc.
Portland OR – Vancouver WA
Metro had humble beginnings back in 1983, running out of the basement of the family home. Hard work, long hours and an unfailing belief in the American Dream has built a business with a solid reputation in the fire equipment industry that now supports over 21 families.
Operating out of a 10,000 sq ft facility in southeast Portland, Metro is truly a full service fire protection/life safety service company. The owners are actively employed with the business and are also active in the fire equipment industry trade associations: NW Fire Alarm Association, Oregon Fire Equipment Distributors, National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors, and National Fire Protection Association.
The National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NAFED) was established in 1963 with the mission of continuously improving the economic environment, business performance, and technical competence in the fire protection industry.
