Cancellation Policy
Reschedule & Cancellation Fee Policy for Recurring Services
Rescheduling:
If you need to reschedule, we request 72 hours' notice to give us an opportunity to fill the spot with another job. There is no fee assessed with a 72-hour notice. If you reschedule with less than 72-hour notice, we assess a $100 cancellation fee.
Cancel a Confirmed Appointment:
If you need to cancel, we request 72 hours' notice to give us an opportunity to fill the spot. There is no fee assessed with 72-hour notice. When you cancel less than 72-hour notice we assess a cancellation fee of $100 or 20% of the estimated job, whichever is greater.
No Show/Missed Appointment:
If our technician arrives at the jobsite and is turned away from a confirmed appointment or cannot perform the work because your representative is not available or did not give proper notice to occupants, we will assess a cancellation fee of $100 or 20% of the estimated job, whichever is greater.
How to Reschedule or cancel your Appointment:
With 72-hour notice: email to services@metrosafetyandfire.com with subject line: reschedule or cancel my appointment @(insert address). Email assures both parties that the request got to the correct party on time. Please include your call-back number! Our scheduler will respond to your email asap by phone and will confirm with an email.
Without 72-hour notice: This job has already been dispatched to the field technician. To pull the job TEXT 503-307-8823 with subject reschedule@ (insert address) or cancel my appointment@ (insert address). Our Manager on Duty will call you ASAP to confirm and will send an email with your receipt for the cancelation fee.
Payment of Cancellation Fee:
Our cancellation fee is due and payable immediately. We cannot schedule your work until outstanding invoices have been paid.
Fees:
- Reschedule with 72-hour notice, no fee
- Cancel with 72-hour notice, no fee
- Reschedule less than 72-hour notice, $100 fee
- Cancel less than 72-hour notice, $100 or 20% (whichever is greater)
- No Show/Missed Appointment, $100 or 20% (whichever is greater)
Waiver of Cancellation Fee:
There are events that are beyond your control, we understand: COVID positive in the building, other contagious epidemic in the building, emergency closure, dangerous weather. If you feel a waiver of the fee is appropriate, our Manager on Duty is the person to talk to. Waiver must be confirmed by email to be valid.
